2025 Halloween Time & Oogie Boogie Bash at Disneyland Resort

The spook‑tacular season is almost here! Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort returns Aug. 22–Oct. 31, 2025, transforming Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and Downtown Disney into a fall fantasia of pumpkin patches, eerie lighting, and endless fall fun.

Halloween Time Highlights

  • Devilishly Delightful Decor - Think orange lighting, fall bunting, leaf motifs, and more pumpkins than you can count. Mickey, Minnie and crew don new Halloween‑70th‑celebration‑inspired costumes in purple, green and orange.

  • Haunted Mansion Holiday - Jack Skellington and his Nightmare Before Christmas gang take over the Haunted Mansion from early September into January. If you’ve experienced HMH before you know its perfect for twilight chills and few extra thrills.

  • Main Street U.S.A. - Keep an eye out for "Halloween Screams", Disneyland’s villain‑led fireworks spectacular hosted by Jack Skellington, plus ambient projections over Sleeping Beauty Castle at night .

  • Radiator ‘Screams’ - Venture past the bat infested Bell Tower of Carthay Circle to find the residents of Cars Land all wearing their car-stumes and MORE!

Oogie Boogie Bash: After‑Hours Magic

Disney California Adventure Park once again hosts a separately ticketed after‑hours party, Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party. Guests attending the party get a early start on the Halloween fun this year. Oogie Boogie Bash runs on select nights from August  17 thru October 31, 2025—five days before general Halloween Time begins.

What makes this party a standout?

  • Trick‑or‑treat trails, including the memorable Villains Grove in Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.

  • “Frightfully Fun Parade”, with reserved viewing upgrade options via the Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party.

  • Admission includes early entry to DCA up to three hours before party time, plus unlimited PhotoPass downloads from the event.

  • Tickets went on sale June 26, 2025 for the general public (Magic Key holders had access to limited pre‑sale June 24–25). A few dates were still available for sale as of the date this article was published..

While we don’t attend Oogie Boogie Bash every year, we’ve been to the party several times and are going again this year. Our three kids (14, 11, 8) enjoy the vibes and (mostly) the candy. We’re not usually into character meet-n-greets but the deep cut villain appearances are a highlight for us. If you’ve never seen Ernesto de la Cruz serenade you in person you’re definitely missing out. Overall, OBB It’s a high‑energy, immersive evening where villains reign, candy flows, and the magic is just a little more mischievous. I give it a solid 8/10.
