RELEASE NOTES: 2025 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom
Boo to you, and you, and you, and… well, you know the rest. Halloween season has officially materialized at Walt Disney World, and that means one thing: Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is back at Magic Kingdom!
From spooky shows and trick-or-treat trails to foodie finds and frightfully fun merch, there’s a lot brewing this year. If you’re planning a visit (or just want to drool over the treats from afar), here’s your one-stop round-up of everything you need to know.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Dates & Tickets
This year’s parties run on select nights August 15 through October 31, 2025. In September and August you can expect MNSSHP on most Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays (with a bonus Thursday in late September). In October, you can get your Trick or Treat fix on Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays, and a special Monday on the 13th.
2025 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates include:
August - 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 29
September: 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21, 23, 25, 26, 28, 30
October: 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 23, 24, 26, 28, 30, 31
Tickets went on sale May 15 for resort guests and May 22 for everyone else. Prices vary by date and cost anywhere from $129-$229. Tickets for this event have sold out in the past but as of the date of this article only 10 nights are sold out (including the night of Halloween) leaving 28 spooky nights still available for purchase. I do expect the party will eventually sell out, so plan ahead.

Entertainment Highlights
Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade – Twice nightly (8:15 & 11:15 p.m.), featuring Mickey & Minnie, Disney Villains, the Haunted Mansion gravediggers, Pain & Panic, Vanellope, and more. BONUS: Minnie, Daisy, and Clarabelle dress as the Sanderson Sisters.
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular – The Sanderson Sisters return with villain friends like Hades, Cruella, Jafar, and Dr. Facilier.
Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular – Hosted by Jack Skellington, with castle projections, fireworks, and appearances by Ursula, Queen of Hearts, and Oogie Boogie.
New this year:
Zom-Beatz Bash in Tomorrowland – dance party inspired by Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires.
Halloween at Storybook Circus – circus fun with DJ beats, Pluto, Daisy, Goofy, and extra treat spots.
Cadaver Dans – the spookiest barbershop quartet returns to Frontierland.
Character Meet & Greets
Characters are the reason some guests book MNSSHP, and 2025 has plenty of exclusive sightings. You can find the full list of characters and their whereabouts on X or Threads, but for now, here’s the highlights.
Main Street, U.S.A.: Mickey and Minnie together in Halloween attire (first time ever!), plus an updated Jack Skellington & Sally.
Adventureland: Aladdin, Jasmine, Genie, Abu, and Captain Jack Sparrow.
Fantasyland: The Pooh crew in costumes, Gaston, Ariel & Eric, Lady Tremaine & stepsisters, Belle, Alice & Wonderland gang.
Tomorrowland: Stitch in his rock ’n’ roll look.
Villains: Maleficent, Cruella, Evil Queen, and Mother Gothel.
Haunted Mansion spirits: Hitchhiking Ghosts and Miss Carlotta roam outside the Mansion.

Trick-or-Treating
Candy lovers, rejoice: there are over a dozen treat trails stocked with classics like M&Ms, Snickers, Starburst, and more).
Everyone gets a complimentary treat bag.
Allergy-friendly option: ask for a teal bag, collect teal tokens, and redeem them at Allergy-Friendly Centers.
Costumes are encouraged (with Disney’s official guidelines in mind), but not required to trick-or-treat.
