Nomad Lounge's $49 Passholder Deal Only Saves You Money If You Order Cocktails

Walt Disney World Passholders can get two small plates and two drinks at Nomad Lounge for $49, plus tax and tip, daily from 3pm through Dec 18. We ran it against the current menu. If you're ordering cocktails it saves about $13 to $25. If you're not, it's a wash or costs you more.

What the Nomad Lounge Passholder Deal Includes

Nomad Lounge in Disney's Animal Kingdom is one of the few places in the park where you can sit down in the shade, look at the river and not feel rushed. So a Passholder offer there sounds great on paper. The Nomad Lounge Passholder deal is two small plates and two beverages for $49, before tax and gratuity, and it runs Oct 20 through Dec 18, 2026, from 3pm until close every day.

Disney's own examples include the chicken wings, Traveller's Provisions (warm naan with a trio of spreads), Wild Mushroom Dumplings, the Leaping Lizard cocktail and the zero-proof Hibiscus Henna.

The Fine Print

There are a few strings attached, and a couple of them matter for the math.

  • Good for a Passholder plus up to 3 guests.
  • Dine-in only.
  • The Charcuterie and Cheese Board is excluded, along with "select beverages." Disney hasn't said which drinks those are.
  • No substitutions or add-ons, and it can't be combined with dining plans or other discounts.
  • You'll need to show your Annual Pass in the Tickets and Passes section of the My Disney Experience app, plus a government photo ID.
  • You still need to get into the park. That means a park reservation, a good-to-go day or arriving after 2pm, and blockout dates apply.
  • Guests 21 and up only for alcohol, of course.

The 3pm start is the tell. Disney Tourist Blog's Tom Bricker read it as a way to nudge Passholders into the lounge later in the day, when it's quieter, and that tracks.

Nomad Lounge Passholder Deal Cost Compare

Here's what the eligible items cost on Nomad's current menu.

  • Small plates run $14 to $18. The cheapest is the Wild Mushroom Dumplings at $14. Chicken wings are $16, the Grilled Beef Kefta is $17, and the Traveller's Provisions and Sticky Pork Ribs are $18 each.
  • Specialty cocktails run $16 to $20. The Leaping Lizard is $19.
  • Zero-proof specialty drinks are about $6.50 each, like the Happy Macaque or the Lychee-Ginger Lemonade.

Now some real orders, before tax and tip.

  • Two pricier plates and two cocktails. The ribs, Traveller's Provisions and two Leaping Lizards come to $74. With the deal you pay $49 and save about $25. This is the best case.
  • Two cheaper plates and two cheaper cocktails. Dumplings, wings and two Sinaloa Sangrias come to $62. You save about $13.
  • Two plates and two zero-proof drinks. That's roughly $43 to $49 at menu price. Best case you save pocket change, and with the cheaper plates the deal actually costs you about $6 more.
  • Two plates and water. You'd pay $30 to $36 normally, so the deal costs you $13 to $19 extra.

One more catch. Because "select beverages" are excluded, there's a chance some of the pricier cocktails aren't eligible, which would trim the best-case savings. Ask your server before you order.

Who Should Use the Nomad Lounge Deal

If you and a friend were already planning on a round of cocktails and a couple of plates at Nomad, take the deal. Saving $13 to $25 on something you were going to order anyway is a nice little Passholder win.

If you don't drink, or you just want a snack and a sit, skip it and order off the menu. You'll pay the same or less, and you can get exactly what you want, including the charcuterie board. Disney Tourist Blog's Tom Bricker, a water drinker, landed in the same spot. For him it isn't much of a deal.

Two other Nomad changes are worth knowing about while you're planning. Nomad now takes Advance Dining Reservations for the first time, for visits starting Nov 8. Walk-ups and the waitlist stick around too. And the churros with vanilla crema and apple butter are now available to go for $11 through "Nomad Lounge To-Go" in the My Disney Experience app, which is a pretty great way to skip the wait entirely.

Alright, that's all for now. See ya next time.
