This is a limited-time increase to Disney Cruise Line's standard "Guaranteed with Restrictions" offer type. A “Guaranteed” (aka GTY) room means you're booking into a guaranteed cabin category rather than a specific stateroom. Disney will assign your specific room prior to sailing. In exchange, you get a meaningfully lower rate.
The “with Restrictions” portion of the situation means your deposit is non-refundable and the entire cruise fare is due at booking. However, 30% off voyage fares is a rare and significant discount for Disney Cruise Line, particularly on newer ships like the Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny. Refunds are typically only refundable up until 90-120 before sailing (depending on length) on a regular, non-discounted sailing. So considering we’re already in summer the time for refundable deposits would have passed anyway.
