Save Up to 20% on Rooms This Holiday Season at Walt Disney World

Disney just released a new room offer for the 2026 holiday season, and it's a good one. Guests can save up to 20% on select rooms across the Disney Resorts Collection for stays this fall and into the holidays.

HOW MUCH CAN YOU REALLY SAVE?

The amount you can depends on which category Resort you want to stay at. The higher the resort, the better the discount. But not all Resorts are equal. Deluxe Disney Resorts carry a premium and mostly carry the best discount of 20% off. However, some Moderate Resorts, which are more affordably priced to begin with are also offering the 20% off discount.

If you’ve always wanted to stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge now might be your change. On the other hand, if you’re perfectly content to stay at Disney’s Port Orleans - Riverside then your money will go even further because both Resorts offer 20% off under this particular deal.

WE DID THE MATH FOR YOU

Let’s plan a hypothetical trip to WDW for my from November 15-20, 2026 for 2 adults and 2 kids. The rack rate for a Preferred Room (the cheapest room available at the resort under this discount) at Disney’s Port Orleans - Riverside is $458.20/night or $2,577.38 (tax included) for 5 nights.

With the 20% off discount applied the nightly rate falls to $366.56 for a total of $1,832.80 + $229.13 tax = $2,061.93 for 5 nights. You’d save $515.45, or over $100 a day, on your stay at Port Orleans. Pretty good.

At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge the rack for the cheapest room type (water view) over the same nights is $663.20 ($3,730.52 including. tax). Apply the discount and your nightly rate decreases to $530.56/night. The total including $331.63 in tax comes to $2,984.43. This represents a total savings of $746.09 or $149.22/night.

Still, the $922.50 difference between Port Orleans and Animal Kingdom Lodge could go a long way towards park tickets, food, airfare, merch, or a special ticket event like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Which ever resort you decide on, you’ll want to carefully review the discount tiers below if you’re eyeing a stay at Walt Disney World this fall and crunch some numbers to find the best fit.

READY FOR THE HOLIDAYS?

Remember, these discounts can be applied to most Sunday to Thursday nights from October 4 to November 19, 2026. Then, from November 22 to December 4, 2026 you can apply this offer on most nights, including weekends.
