Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 Disney Cruise Line Itinerary Release
The Disney Magic sailing out of the New York Harbour via Disney Cruise Line
Disney Cruise Line just announced its lineup of Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 itineraries, and the headline is the fleet's return to New York City for the first time since 2023. The Disney Wish will homeport there this fall, the Disney Destiny is finally getting a home of its own in Port Canaveral, and the Disney Magic is making genuine maiden calls in Panama for the first time.
Why New York Is the Big Story
This release spans nearly every ship in the fleet across Fall 2027 and Spring 2028, so there's a lot to get through. Early access for Castaway Club members, Disney Vacation Club members, and Adventures by Disney Adventure Insiders opens August 31, 2026, with general public booking following on September 8. Below is everything worth knowing before those dates hit, home port by home port.

If you caught our post from yesterday about the coordinates Disney teased ahead of this release, you already knew New York was on the way. What you probably didn't expect is just how much else came with it. As always, book early if something catches your eye, Disney fares tend to climb rather than drop once a sailing starts filling up.

If you're a Castaway Club Member, a Disney Vacation Club Member, or an Adventures by Disney Adventure Insider, you'll get early access ahead of the general public. Disney's release for this cycle didn't break Castaway Club access out by individual membership tier the way some past releases have, so here's exactly what's confirmed so far.

>> Gold Members can book starting September 2, 2026 <<
>> Silver Members can book starting September 3, 2026 <<
>> General booking begins September 8, 2026 <<
If past release days are any indication, the New York sailings and the Destiny's Port Canaveral debut are the ones most likely to sell out fast, so it's worth being ready the moment your window opens.

Disney Cruise Line Returns to New York City with Disney Wish
This is the section everyone's here for. The Disney Wish will arrive in New York in late September 2027 fresh off its inaugural season in Europe, and it'll stay through the end of October for seven special voyages ranging from 4 to 7 nights.

Five of those sailings visit the pink sand beaches of Bermuda, and three of the five extend the stop for an extra day so families get more time to actually explore the island rather than just pass through. The season also brings Disney Cruise Line back to New England and Canada's Atlantic coast for the first time in nearly four years, with stops in Boston, Massachusetts, St. John, New Brunswick, and Halifax, Nova Scotia, timed for peak fall foliage.

Here's how the actual sailing dates break down. A 12-night westbound transatlantic repositioning cruise kicks the season off on September 17, sailing from Southampton, England, through Greenock (Glasgow), Scotland, two days in Reykjavik, Iceland, and St. John's, Newfoundland, before seven days at sea and disembarkation in New York.
From there, New York sailings run a 4-night Bermuda cruise on September 29, a 5-night Canada and New England Halloween cruise on October 3 (St. John, Boston, two days at sea), a 6-night Bermuda and Canada Halloween cruise on October 8 (Bermuda, Halifax, three days at sea), 5-night Bermuda Halloween cruises on October 14 and 19, and a 7-night Canada Halloween cruise on October 24 hitting Charlottetown, Sydney, and Halifax.
The season wraps October 31 with a 5-night Bermuda Halloween sailing that embarks in New York and ends in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

More Sailings from San Juan and Panama
After New York, the Disney Wish heads to San Juan on a 5-night voyage with a Bermuda stop, then runs a 7-night Southern Caribbean cruise from San Juan with calls in Aruba, St. Maarten, Bonaire, and Dominica, before repositioning to Port Canaveral on a 4-night sailing that visits both Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
The Disney Fantasy adds more San Juan sailings too. In December 2027 it offers a 7-night Southern Caribbean cruise from San Juan plus a 5-night Eastern Caribbean cruise ending in Fort Lauderdale, then returns in late April through May 2028 for two more 7-night Southern Caribbean sailings visiting Curaçao, Bonaire, Barbados, and Antigua.
The Disney Magic gets the most historically interesting assignment of the release, with two genuine Panama Canal repositioning cruises. In November 2027 it sails a 14-night eastbound crossing from San Diego to Galveston with a maiden call at Fuerte Amador (Panama City), Panama. The following March, it reverses course with a 14-night westbound sailing from Galveston back to San Diego, making a maiden call at Colon, Panama, the Caribbean gateway to the canal.

Disney Destiny Homeports in Port Canaveral
For the first time, the Disney Destiny will homeport in Port Canaveral starting Fall 2027, running three- to seven-night sailings to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean. Before making that move, the Destiny opens the season in Fort Lauderdale with three- to five-night Bahamas and Western Caribbean cruises built around its heroes-and-villains onboard theming.

Port Canaveral Gets Even Busier
With three Wish-class ships based there starting November 2027, Port Canaveral is having a moment. Following its New York and San Juan sailings, the Disney Wish settles into Port Canaveral for 3- and 4-night Bahamian cruises stopping at both Disney island destinations.
The Disney Treasure continues its usual 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean sailings to ports like Tortola and Falmouth, Jamaica, plus one special 8-night Eastern Caribbean voyage and a 6-night Bahamian sailing with two stops at Disney Castaway Cay.
The Disney Dream sails from Port Canaveral on 3- and 4-night Bahamian trips before repositioning to Fort Lauderdale in November 2027 for 3- to 5-night Bahamian sailings, including one six-night itinerary that hits Castaway Cay twice.
The Disney Fantasy opens the season sailing from Port Canaveral from September through November 2027 on 4- and 5-night trips to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean, then repositions for the San Juan sailings mentioned above plus a stretch from Fort Lauderdale on 4- to 7-night Bahamas and Eastern Caribbean cruises. From Fort Lauderdale, the Fantasy also sails to Bermuda for the first time ever, an 8-night cruise that visits both Disney Bahamian islands along the way.

California and Texas Escapes
The Disney Magic and Disney Wonder both sail from San Diego through early November 2027 on 3- to 7-night Baja and Mexican Riviera cruises. The Wonder stays in San Diego for the rest of Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 with 3- to 7-night sailings to Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas, and Catalina Island. After completing its eastbound Panama Canal crossing, the Disney Magic settles into Galveston for the season with 4- to 7-night cruises. Select 7-night Bahamian itineraries out of Galveston stop at both Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point and Disney Castaway Cay.

The Disney Adventure continues sailing from Singapore with new 3- and 4-night itineraries from September through December 2027. Select sailings starting December 31, 2026 also add a new port of call, Langkawi, Malaysia, giving guests a chance to explore the island's rainforests and coastline on shore excursions.

Why Book Early ?
Disney cruises are notorious for selling out quickly and for prices that rise as sailings fill. Booking early gives you:
The best selection of staterooms, especially if you need connecting rooms or suites
Lower introductory pricing, and time to spread out payments thanks to Disney's flexible deposit structure
The New York sailings especially are the ones I'd expect to move fastest this round, given how long it's been since Disney last offered them.
Final Thoughts
I really think the DCL Cruise Tracker will help sort through all the itineraries and make choosing a ship and designation more fun. You can easily filter, favorite, and share your top picks for the newly released Disney Cruise Line itineraries. Give it a try.
This is one of the bigger itinerary drops Disney Cruise Line has put out in a while. New York leads the way after a three-year absence, but the Panama Canal maiden calls, the Destiny finally getting a real home port, and the added San Juan sailings all make this a genuinely full release rather than a one-headline announcement. Now the real question is, which itinerary will you choose?
Alright, that’s all for now. See ya next time.
