My father-in-law, Ed, relaxes in a hammock at a private cabana on Disney Castaway Cay while my nephew, Graham, plays in the sand.

Summer 2027 Itinerary Printout
If you prefer to browse the full list of upcoming itineraries, below I’ve added the PDFs Disney Cruise Line published. I enjoy printing these out and taking notes on them while I plan and compare which cruises I might want to book on opening day.

Disney Magic and Disney Wonder Return to Alaska
Following the precedent set in 2026, both Disney Wonder and Disney Magic will sail 6-, 7-, and 8-night cruises from Vancouver, Canada through the splendor of the Alaska wilderness. The Disney Wonder holds steady with 7-night itineraries starting May 10 through September 13, 2027 while making stops at fan favorites like Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan in addition to the famous Stikine Icecap / Dawes Glacier viewing day.
The Disney Magic mixes things up a bit with stops at Icy Strait Point and Sitka (June 22 sailing).
We have our first Alaska cruise coming up on May 18, 2026 aboard the Disney Wonder. Be sure to check back for a full trip report with plenty of pictures.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT…
I kicked off a new Concept to Reality series with a deep dive into the Disney Destiny’s Black Panther–inspired Grand Hall—comparing the early concept art to the real-life “living theater” we’ve started to see in previews. From the T’Challa statue to those wild lighting effects, this space is already rewriting what a Disney Cruise Line atrium can be.

Caribbean Cruises
Disney Cruise Line is doubling down on Western and Eastern Caribbean sailings in summer 2027, with 5- and 7-night itineraries aboard the Disney Fantasy, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny leaving from either Port Canaveral or Fort Lauderdale. Expect to see tropical favorites like Cozumel (MX), Grand Caymen, Puerto Plata (DR), Falmouth (Jamaica), and Tortola.
But the big highlight? A 10-night Southern Caribbean sailing aboard the Disney Fantasy out of Port Canaveral with stops in St. Maarten, St. Lucia, Antigua, Puerto Rico, Disney Castaway Cay, and Disney Lookout Cay.
Besides the 10-nighter only two other Caribbean cruises feature stops at bother Disney locations. The Disney Destiny will sail for 7 nights beginning on June 26 and August 7 with stops in Puerto Rico and Puerto Plata (DR), in addition to Disney Castaway Cay and Disney lookout Cay. Expect these sailings to be exceptionally popular. These two private destinations are “must-do” ports for many, offering pristine beaches, signature Disney theming and service.

Bahamian Cruises
If a shorter sailing fits your schedule, Bahamian cruises will be plentiful with 5 different Disney ships sailing 3-, 4-, and 5-night itineraries. Departures from Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale will whisk you away to Nassau, Disney Castaway Cay, or Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. These cruises are perfect for first-timers, long weekends, or families who want to tack on a visit to Walt Disney World before or after their voyage.
Several sailings aboard the Disney Destiny, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Dream feature stops at both Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay. If you’re like me, you’re always eyeing a double or duo dip to Disney’s private destinations.
Then there’s the ever coveted triple dip (or double-dup dip?) with two stops at either Castaway Cay or Lookout Cay and one stop at the other for a total of three stops at Disney’s private locales in the Bahamas. More specifically, the Disney Fantasy will depart Port Canaveral on June 27 and Aug 13 before making 2 stops at Castaway Cay and one stop at Lookout Cay. If the Disney Destiny is your flavor of cruise ship then you’ll want to depart from Fort Lauderdale on July 26 to make two stops at Lookout Cay and one stop at Castaway Cay.
Eastbound Transatlantic Voyage
For the ultimate Disney Cruise Line adventure, consider the 13-night Eastbound Transatlantic sailing from Port Canaveral to Barcelona, Spain aboard the Disney Wish. You’ll set sail on April 25 and along the way, you’ll visit Funchal, Portugal, Gibraltar, and an overnight stop in Cartagena, Spain with nine days at sea to soak up everything the ship has to offer. It’s a dream trip for Disney fans who love sea days and far off ports of call..

European Cruises Aboard the Disney Wish
European season is the creme de la creme of Disney Cruise Line itineraries. In just a few short summer months, following a dry dock, the Disney Wish will make her debut European season with 3-, 4-, 5-, 6-, 7-, 8-, 9-, and 10-night sailings ranging from Northern Europe, Norwegian Fjords, British Isles, Greece, and the Mediterranean.
As you can see in the linked PDF above there’s a lot to unpack in the summer of 2027. The Disney Wish will call three cities homophile in Europe. Lets take a close look at what you can except from the itineraries from each home port.
CRUISES FROM SOUTHAMPTON, ENGLAND
In 2027, Disney Cruise Line will sail 3-, 4-, 5-, and 7-night cruises out of Southampton, England across 8 different itineraries including….
NORTHERN EUROPE - Visit Belgium via a port stop in Zeebrugge (Brussels) on a 3-night itinerary that sets sail on August 20, 2027. But if the Netherlands is more your speed then you’ll want to book the 3-night Northern Europe itinerary that departs on August 27, 2027 with a stop in Rotterdam (Amsterdam).
If you can’t decide between these shorter sailings then you may want to opt for the 7-night Northern Europe itinerary on September 10, 2027. You’ll visit Rotterdam, Kristiansand, Copenhagen, and Skagen with two days at sea.
SPAIN - Four-night itineraries from Southampton will take you to the west coast of Spain with a stop in La Coruna with departure dates of August 23 and 30, 2027. Keep an eye on the August 16, 2027 sailing if you’d rather visit Bilbao. To visit both La Coruna and Bilbao then the August 6, 2027 5-night sailing is for you. Vigo, Spain replaces the Bilboa port of call on the August 11, 2027 itinerary.
7-Night Norwegian Fjords Cruise from Southampton departing July 23, 2027
7-Night Norwegian Fjords Cruise from Southampton departing July 30, 2027
NORWAY - The Disney Wish will sail 7-night routes to Norway on two different Norwegian Fjords itineraries. I’ve included the itinerary maps (above) provided by Disney Cruise Line for these itineraries so it’s easier to visualize the slight differences in the routes.
The first, on July 23, 2027, will call on Kristiansand, Olden, Alesund, and Haugesund with two days at sea.
This is the itinerary I’ll be booking for our family’s summer vacation in 2027. Visiting Norway and the Fjords has always been aspirational trip for us and the time is finally right. This Disney Cruise Line sailing lines up well with our kids school schedule and gives us an opportunity to introduce our kids (ages 15, 12, 9) to European travel. As you know, navigating across Europe is easy, cheap, and convenient. This means we’ll likely also end up at Disneyland Paris for a few days followed by Paris proper before taking the train to England and exploring London before setting sail. Plans can change but that’s the rough draft for now.
The second 7-night Norwegian Fjords itinerary sets sail from Southampton on July 30, 2027.
On this cruise the Disney Wish will call on Haugesund, Hellesylt, Alesund, and Stavenger with two days at sea. Haugesund, Norway is a new port of call for Disney Cruise Line. The Disney Wish will make its call on the port on August 2, 2027. Disney describes Haugesund as a “breathtaking fjord village known for its dramatic waterfalls, towering mountains and outdoor adventures.”
If you’re like me, you're always seeking historically-rich adventures and nature hikes that end with views of waterfalls. Haugesund sounds right up my alley with an available excursion that takes you on a “spectacular journey takes you through the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Geirangerfjord, passing famous waterfalls including the Seven Sisters and the Bridal Veil, with towering cliffs and pristine waters surrounding you.” It’s too bad this port of call falls on the same week my kids start school or we’d be there.
BRITISH ISLES - You can also make your way around England, Northern Ireland, and Scotland on a 7-night British Isles itinerary that departs on September 3, 2027. You’ll first stop in Greenock (Glasgow & Edinburgh), Scotland before visiting Liverpool, England. Beyond that you’ll also stop in Belfast, Northern Ireland and Portland (Stonehenge), England along with two days at sea.
CRUISES FROM BARCELONA, SPAIN
Barcelona is an amazing city to visit and explore in and of itself. Adding a Disney Cruise Line sailing to the beginning or end of trip to the Catalan capital would be the chocolate on the churro. And with 6-, 7-, and 9-night there’s lots to choose from.
MEDITERRANEAN - For starters, on May 22, 2027 the Disney Wish will sail the Mediterranean on a 7-night itinerary with calls on Palma de Mallorca, Spain before heading to Italy for stops in Naples (Pompeii),, Civitavecchia (Rome), and Livorno (Florence & Pisa). This itinerary repeats but not until July 3 and 10, 2027. However, the July 3, 2027 sailing swaps Palma de Mallorca, Spain in favor of Genoa (Milan), Italy.
MEDITERRANEAN + GREEK ISLES - Upping the ante, the Disney Wish will sail a one way 9-night Mediterranean and Greek Isles itinerary on May 29, 2027 calling on Valletta, Malta and Naples (Pompeii), Italy while also adding stops at three Greek Isles including Chania, Piraeus (Athens), and Mykonos. This cruise will end and passengers will disembark in Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy.
WESTERN EUROPE - If you want to start in Barcelona, Spain and disembark in Southampton, England then the July 17, 2027 6-night Western Europe itinerary is for you. On this sailing the Disney Wish will call on Gibralter, then Lisbon, Portugal, and Vigo, Spain with two days at sea.
8-Night Adriatic Sea and Greece Cruise from Civitavecchia (Rome)
8-Night Mediterranean Cruise with Greek Isles from Civitavecchia (Rome)
10-Night Mediterranean with Greek Isles Cruise from Civitavecchia (Rome) ending in Barcelona
CRUISES FROM CIVITAVECCHIA (ROME), ITALY
Rounding out the Disney Wish itineraries in Europe for 2027 are three eclectic sailing from the Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy. These 8- or 10-night sailings will give Disney Cruise Line guests a trip to be remembered. Again, I’ve included the itinerary maps (above) provided by Disney Cruise Line for these itineraries so it’s easier to visualize the differences in the routes.
ADRIATIC SEA + GREECE - The Disney Wish will visit Trieste (Venice), Italy for the very first time when she sets sail for 8 nights on June 7, 2027 with additional stops in Corfu, Greece and two stops in Croatia including Zadar (also for the first time) and Dubrovnik before spending 3 days it sea.
MEDITERRANEAN + GREEK ISLES - On June 15, 2027 will set sail on an 8-night Mediterranean with Greek Isles itinerary. The Disney Wish will call on the islands of Chania, Santorini, Rhodes, and Mykonos before stopping in Naples (Pompeii), Italy on her way back to Civitavecchia (Rome).
A 10-night variation of the Med + Greek Isles itinerary sails on June 23, 2027. Plan on Mykonos, Rhodes, and Chania as well as Piraeus (Athens) in Greece. You’ll also visit Messina (Sicily), Italy en route to Barcelona, Spain where you would disembark.

Singapore Aboard the Disney Adventure
After a short delay to the Disney Adventure’s Maiden Voyage, which was originally scheduled for December 2025 but moved to March 2026, she’ll be in full swing by the summer of 2027. In this release you’ll find the Disney Adventure sailing exclusively in Singapore on 3- and 4-night itineraries. With no ports of call you’ll have plenty of time to explore everything this groundbreaking ship has to offer, including the longest roller coaster at sea, dazzling shows, and appearances from Disney, Pixar, and Marvel characters.
This is another itinerary we have on the books for this fall and I gotta say we found these itineraries to be competitively priced compared to most other Disney Cruises we’ve taken. For example, we paid less for two staterooms, bother with verandahs, shared between seven people than we typically pay for a 4 or 5 night cruise in The Bahamas. Of course, it’s not exactly apples to apples and the cost and time it takes to Singapore is a huge variable. Even still, we found the potential journey and experience worth the cost. Additionally, we plan to make a few other stops while in Asia to maximize our time out effort.

Why Book Early?
Disney cruises are notorious for selling out quickly and for prices that only go up as sailings fill. Booking early gives you:
The best selection of staterooms (especially if you need connecting rooms or suites).
Lower introductory pricing.
Time to spread out payments thanks to Disney’s flexible deposit structure and pay over time policy.
However, we have seen some historic deals recently not typically offered by Disney Cruise Line. I would bank on these deals lasting or coming back around as your ideal sailing gets closer. The best advice is still to book early. If a deal comes along, a well versed travel advisor will help navigate your booking to ensure you get the best value possible.
Final Thoughts
With so many options—Caribbean, Bahamas, Mexico, Transatlantic, Alaska, and Singapore—it’s clear Disney Cruise Line is gearing up for its most ambitious summer yet in 2027. Whether you’re chasing beach days, cultural exploration, or the magic of Disney’s newest ships, there’s a sailing that fits your family’s dreams.
Now the real question is… which itinerary will you choose?
Alright, that’s it for now. See ya next time.
