Florida Residents Can Save Up to 25% on Disney World Resort Rooms This Holiday Season
Florida residents have a little extra reason to consider a Walt Disney World getaway before the end of 2026: Disney is offering up to 25% off select resort rooms on eligible holiday-season nights. Here's how the discount works, when it applies, and why it's worth comparing against Disney's other hotel offers before you book.
WHEN IS THE FLORIDA RESIDENT DISCOUNT AVAILABLE?
The offer covers most nights in three distinct travel windows:
- October 19–31, 2026
- November 15–28, 2026
- December 13–24, 2026
That includes dates around Thanksgiving and the lead-up to Christmas, but it does NOT mean every night from October 19 through December 24 qualifies. In particular, December 1–12 is not among the three advertised Florida resident travel windows.
Actual availability depends on your dates, resort and room category. Disney limits the number of rooms eligible for each discount.
HOW MUCH CAN FLORIDA RESIDENTS SAVE?
The eligible hotels and specific room types are divided into three tiers: up to 25%, up to 20%, and up to 15% off. Disney calculates the savings against the nondiscounted price a non-Florida resident would pay for the same room.
The top 25% tier includes a number of Deluxe resorts and villa accommodations. But don't ignore the 20% and 15% tiers, especially if you're looking for a more affordable place to stay. A lower percentage on a less expensive hotel can still result in the better total price.
For a simple illustration, a $400 room night at 25% off would fall to $300 before taxes, while a $250 room night at 15% off would cost $212.50. The more expensive room saves more dollars, but the less expensive room still costs less. These are examples, not live Disney room quotes.
And take a close look at room types. Disney's Coronado Springs Resort has King Bed Rooms in the 25% tier while other eligible accommodations at the same resort are in the 20% tier. The discount follows the qualifying room category, not just the hotel name.

IS THE FLORIDA RESIDENT OFFER BETTER THAN THE REGULAR DISCOUNT?
It can be, but only if the dates and room you're considering overlap with the Florida resident offer. Disney also has a general-public holiday room discount of up to 20%, with a different schedule: most Sunday-through-Thursday nights October 4–November 19, and most nights, including weekends, November 22–December 24.
Here's the wrinkle: the Florida resident offer tops out at 25%, but its listed windows skip December 1–12. The general-public promotion covers most nights in that stretch. If you're planning a trip in early December, don't assume the Florida resident discount is automatically your best—or only—option.
Compare the actual room total for the dates you want, not just the advertised percentage. And if you have access to another eligible offer, check that one too. Discounts generally can't be stacked, and availability can make one option better than another.

CAN THIS DISCOUNT BE COMBINED WITH FREE KIDS' DINING?
Yes—with an important distinction. Disney says this room offer may be combined with the separate 2026 Kids Dining Plan Offer. That dining promotion provides a free dining plan for eligible kids ages 3–9 when you purchase a qualifying Walt Disney Travel Company package that includes a Disney Resorts Collection room and dining plans for all guests ages 10 and up.
This does not mean every room-only reservation automatically includes free dining. The separate package conditions must be met, and the right combination should be priced out before you book.
